Edward Japhet Edwards
There is an entry in the 1881 Census who is apparently this man. His age as given was two years younger than that stated by parish records. It is not unusual for such details in a census to vary in this manner, and a check of earlier/later census should reveal the facts. In 1881 this man - said to have been a journeyman blacksmith, was living at Halfway House, on the High Road at Needham, in Norfolk. With him was his wife and a 14 y/o niece, Alice Woolnough, of Chediston. There were no other children apparent.
