Executive Summary:
was a respected member of the National Amateur Bodybuilders Association (NABBA) and opened his own gym in Manor Park in 1948. When young Bill had rickets and wore leg irons but became O/40yrs Senior Mr. Britain. He was also the first honorary life member of the NABBA Executive Council, an International Judge, Judges Secretary, a scrutineer of NABBA's Instructors courses and raised very impressive funds for NABBA. Bill and his lovely wife, Irene, enrolled all of their extensive family to NABBA, usually within three weeks of birth! He won many titles including at aged 70 breaking the world record for Squats for 60 and 70 yrs by lifting 347½lbs (158kg).
