139. Sampson EDWARDS. With his profession of wheelwright, Sampson would have done well in busy London, and that is where the 1881 Census places him in that year. It seems he was in London by about 1855. Although his wife and eldest son were also born in Suffolk, his daughter was a Londoner, born around 1860. Sampson and his family lived at 4 Nutford Place, Marylebone. His wife and daughter were both dressmakers.
